Europe is in full swing of establishing a regional battery value chain for electric vehicles. This is without any doubt the most ambitious and important transformation project for the auto industry to regain leadership in innovation and remain competitive on the global stage. Given Asian leadership in battery technology and US IRA initiatives to gain battery sovereignty as well, how can this project create distinct value and succeed?
