MONDIAL DE L'AUTO 2024: LET'S CELEBRATE!

The 90th Mondial de l’Auto – Paris took place from Monday 14th to Sunday 20th October 2024, at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. At the Mondial de l’Auto 2024, the automobile was celebrated as never before, transforming the 126-year-old show into a veritable auto fest!

Mondial de l’Auto 2024: innovation at the heart of the show

A showcase for the automotive industry’s technical and technological advances, the Mondial de l’Auto has always been a meeting place for enthusiasts. Bringing together manufacturers and service providers from all over the world, the Mondial de l’Auto 2024 once again showcased new concepts, new models and new technologies.

Numerous concept cars and new models were unveiled at the show. World premieres included the Alpine show car A390_ß, Alpine prototype Alpenglow Hy6, Audi Q6 e-tron Sportback, Cadillac Optiq, Citroën C4 (restyling), Citroën C4X (restyling), Citroën C5 Aircross Concept, Dacia Bigster, Leapmotor B10, Peugeot E-408, Renault demo car Emblème, Renault 4 E-Tech Electric, Skoda Elroq, Skyworth Q, Volkswagen Tayron…

Visitors were also able to admire European and French previews of models such as the Audi A5, Audi Q5, Audi A6 e-tron, Audi Q6 e-tron, Audi RS e-tron GT performance, Ford Capri, Ford e-Tourneo Courier, Kia EV3, THK LSR05 and XPeng P7 plus…

Finally, the star cars of the moment were also on public display. These included the Alpine A290, BMW 1 Series, Citroën ë-C3, Dacia Bigster, Kia EV3, MINI Aceman, Peugeot E-3008, Renault 5 and E-Tech Electric!

Alongside these presentations, automotive professionals gathered for round-table discussions and enriching talks. Two cycles of conferences on the Future of the Automobile, in partnership with BCG and Google, and the Mondial Conferences, redefined the contours of an industry in perpetual evolution. Analysing in turn the causes and consequences of technological innovations, but also the sources of automotive passion and the place of women in these professions, an entire sector was invited to these conferences.

A passion that unites all visitors

New cars rubbed shoulders with fascinating themed exhibitions at the Mondial de l’Auto 2024. From heritage to new technologies, visitors enjoyed a rich program throughout the week.

The Dream Zone showcased a selection of supercars and luxury cars! From the Alpine Pikes Peak to the Morgan Plus Six, not forgetting the new Bentley Continental and Bentayga, enthusiasts were invited to dream and contemplate the finest in current production of exceptional cars.

The“On n’arrête pas le progrès” exhibition took visitors on a journey through automotive innovation. Comfort, safety, performance, reliability, sobriety and on-board technology are just some of the innovations that have improved the daily lives of French people in every era. 19 cars were on display, from the Peugeot Type 3 of 1898 to the Citroën Ami of 2020, including the Ford T, Citroën Traction, Citroën 2CV, Volkswagen Golf GTI, Peugeot 205 GTI, BMW 2002 Turbo, Renault Espace, Toyota Prius and Tesla Model S.

ThePop Culture by Movie Cars Central exhibition featured 25 cars from Franck Galiègue’s collection, the largest collection of movie cars in Europe. On this stand, the biggest stars of the silver and silver screen rubbed shoulders: Aston Martin DBS from James Bond’s Casino Royale, Batmobile from Tim Burton’s Batman, Chevrolet Camaro from Transformers, DeLorean DMC-12 from Back to the Future 2, Ferrari 308 GTS from Magnum, Ford Gran Torino from Starsky & Hutch, Pontiac Firebrid Transam, aka KITT, from K2000 and Toyota Supra from Fast & Furious…

Visitors to the Fabrique de l’électrique were treated to a real immersion in the French electric car industry. Guided by two actors portraying Thomas Edison and André Citroën, and a mediator with expertise in electrical technologies, enthusiasts discovered the production cycle of a French electric car, in a fun and educational atmosphere.

TheMatra Museum exhibition featured a dozen iconic cars from the French manufacturer’s workshops. With 124 victories in less than 10 years, the Matra epic was highlighted by the presence of the Matra MS650, M25, Djet, Bagheera, Rancho, as well as the legendary Matra-Renault Espace F1, celebrating the 30th anniversary of its presentation at the 1994 Mondial de l’Auto.

The Mondial de l’Auto showcases contemporary innovations without ever forgetting rare and historic models. By showcasing automotive cultures in all their diversity, we preserve our heritage and pass on our passion for cars.

Mondial de l’Auto 2024: a true celebration of the automobile

This 2024 edition of the Mondial de l’Auto was a real festival for all visitors.

The most passionate may have had the chance to meet celebrities from the world of cars. GMK, Pierre Gasly, Antoine Dupont, Bigflo et Oli, Morgane Quetier, POG, Akram Junior, Franck Galiègue, Sébastien Loeb, Maeva Coucke, Nelson Monfort and many more were present at the Mondial de l’Auto.

Whether on the Speed2Max electric karting track or in the bucket seats of the car racing simulators, the most daring visitors were able to test themselves against the fastest drivers, while the most curious tried out one of the thirty models available at the Banque des Territoires test center.

Throughout the day, a banda also played popular hymns in the aisles of the show. This festive spirit was amplified by the mobile DJ booth, in partnership with Radio FG and Match Event, which criss-crossed the halls to get all the enthusiasts dancing! A total of 30 DJ sets immersed visitors in the festive atmosphere of the Mondial de l’Auto 2024.

Two evening events were also organized. DJ Booths and Laser Shows punctuated each of them, in addition to the numerous concerts and DJ sets programmed by each of the exhibitors.

Celebrating the future, heritage and different automotive cultures, the Mondial de l’Auto 2024 drew more than 500,000 visitors in just 6 days of public exposure!
